I am ready for Spring y’all! After the whirlwind of the holidays, New Years, and Valentine’s, I’m now ready for Spring!

Take a look at this Easter mini-album I made for Creative Escapes.

I used Photoplay’s Easter Wishes Collection Pack, which includes 8 sheets of double sided 12×12 designer card stock, 1 bonus sheet, and 1 12×12 designer card stock stickers. I added a shaker element on the cover and some ribbon to close the album and finish it off.

Here is what you need:

1 Easter Wishes Collection Pack, 1 4×6 clear acetate sheet, 1/4” foam tape, folded to make two layers, Sequins, Ribbon

To prepare the base of the album, you will need 4 12×12 sheets. Choose wisely as these 2 of these will end up being the front and back cover of your album.

Now that the base of the mini-album is made, we need to prepare the inserts for the mini-album. I used the leftover paper to mat 4×6 photo cards, and cut up the journaling cards to use as embellishments for the mini-album.

Next I worked on the shaker element for the cover.

I set this shaker element aside, then added a binding to the mini-album as well as the ribbon closer. The video below shows how I did that, and finally adhering the shaker element to the cover of the album.

The major elements were done, and this final video was adding the decorative elements to all the pages.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Please stop by the store to see the sample and the collection. This album is easy to make in one sitting. You’ve got to try it. I was inspired by watching Amber from @lyriclovecrafts for her tutorial on making this Large Pocket Mini-album using 4 12×12 sheets. Thanks for being here, and I hope you can find some time to nourish your soul through papercrafting.
