Hi Friends,
I’m Sheila. I love memory-keeping and making homemade cards. I started out on this journey when my high school friend Stephanie introduced me to rubber stamping. Between our long call days in the hospital, she’d invite me to make cards with her and her friends. We’d make them and give to patients in the hospital or others in need. I was hooked from day one. That was back in 2001. Since then, our crafting has evolved and now has included the next generation, our kids.
Today, crafting for me involves making homemade cards (Stampin’ Up!, Lawn Fawn, Mama Elephant, Tim Holtz, and Sizzix to name a few), putting together Project Life albums (digitally), memory keeping in traveler’s notebooks, and planning in my bullet journal. I also love melding both my worlds of crafting with educating people about living a healthy lifestyle. I’m a board certified Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician and currently practicing in the Bay Area.
I’m honored to be a part of Creative Escape’s Design Team, which further stretches the breadth of my paper crafting adventures. I’m excited to share my love of creating art through paper crafting and I want you to be inspired to share your gift of creating as well. Thank you for being here.
